                    R. D. Foord's Sprite Library v. 1.1

The TAP file enclosed in this ZIP file features an empty JSW128 game file into which sprites from R. D. Foord's "JSW Sprite Library" and some other sprites have been transferred, making it easy to use them. You can export them and then import them straight into another game file using John Elliott's JSWED.

R. D. Foord's "JSW Sprite Library" has three sprite pages. In the accompanying TAP file the sprites from page 1 of R. D. Foord's "JSW Sprite Library" can be found between the addresses #9800 and #B7FF, from page 2 between the addresses #B800 and #D0FF and from page 3
between the addresses #D100 and #E4FF. The remaining sprites (between the addresses #E500 - #F6FF) do not appear in R. D. Foord's "JSW Sprite Library".

[Please note that regarding all of the address ranges mentioned in this document, they may not be continuous, there are gaps because some addresses in-between are not occupied by sprites. However, in the Sprites section of JSWED you see the sprites all together, as if the ranges were continuous, and you can export them easily.]

Sprites in R. D. Foord's "JSW Sprite Library" come from the games "Jet Set Willy", "Jet Set Willy II", "Manic Miner" and "Technician Ted", and some are new. Hence the accompanying TAP file features:

- Sprites from "Jet Set Willy II" between the addresses #9800 and #B17F.

- Sprites from "Jet Set Willy" between the addresses #B180 and #C87F.

- Sprites from "Technician Ted" between the addresses #C880 and #CC7F.

- Sprites from "Manic Miner" between the addresses #CC80 and #DCFF.

- Sprites which I presume to have been designed by R. D. Foord between the addresses #DD00 and #E4FF.

- Sprites from R. D. Foord's game "Dr Jet Set Willy" which do not appear in R. D. Foord's "JSW Sprite Library" between the addresses #E500 and #EF7F. Some of them were probably designed by R. D. Foord and some actually come from "Technician Ted".

- Sprites from "Technician Ted" (which I extracted myself) between the addresses #EF80 and #F6FF.
